Nimbus Dairy Goats consists of my mother and I, and a herd
of about 25 LaManchas. The original herd had a foundation experimental doe,
but after 10 years, only LaMancha kids are born in the herd.

Over the past several years, the focus has been on breeding structurally correct
does that have milky, well-attached udders carried high. Our older does all stand on
upright pasterns, and have udders that are still carried above their hocks.
In limited showing (2-3 shows per year) during 2007 and 2008, we finished 2 does (Javelin and
Eccha) and won 3 Best Junior Doe in Show awards on three different doelings!

Our herd is CL free, and all kids are raised on a CAE prevention program,
and the herd is tested yearly.
If you are interested in a kid from our herd, please email and check for
availabity. Bucks are only sold from proven does or exceptional first fresheners,
and we will not sell a buckling from any doe unless we feel that she has qualities
that will improve the breed.
